Saturday July 1

3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In this workshop, Juliet teaches and shares movement practices that facilitate and develop a nurturing and responsive relationship between your body, mind and psyche.
The movement modalities of the workshop derive from the Alexander Technique, Body Mind Centering, Pilates and Contact Improvisation.
We will utilise the power of metaphor and imagery as mediums that connect body and psyche and how they serve both restoration and embodiment.
The practices will focus on exploring and creating a fundamental grounding to establish a deep connection to ourselves and our bodies.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in fostering a positive and supportive relationship between their body, mind and psyche.

Juliet has lived in Paris since 2022. She was born in Tanzania and lived in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and New Zealand before settling in France. She is a freelance professional dancer and teaches the Alexander Technique and Pilates. She has taught dance workshops and classes all over the world and worked as a dance producer for many years. Who am I?
Her own healing journey has unfolded over many years. Alongside her work as a dancer, she has studied the work of Marion Woodman and Jungian psychology, has been following the course of her dreams for decades, and has studied and practiced macrobiotics since the age of twenty.

For the past five years she has practiced the work of Ren Hurst, author of The Wisdom of Wildness. This work deals with how our own domestication – and our resulting disconnection from nature – is the trauma behind much of the human experience.

She is a mother of three young adults.

Ce que les gens disent..

« Ce fut une leçon fabuleuse cet après-midi. Des instructions bien rythmées et significatives qui m'ont appris quelque chose sur ma relation avec la terre, le sens du mouvement et le fait de bien jouer avec les autres. Merci.» Claire Szabo
